Speech and Language Services
Latitude offers comprehensive speech-language therapy services for children of all ages. All of our speech-language pathologists hold a Master's degree, maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence, and are licensed and certified at the state and national level. Our speech therapists identify, diagnose, and treat communication delays and disorders in children. They provide individualized treatment approaches based on the latest and most effective research to foster each child's maximum potential.

Occupational Therapy Services
Latitude provides pediatric occupational therapy to improve each child's independence and performance of daily living activities. Interventions focus on teaching skills, adapting the child's environment, modifying tasks, and educating the child's family. We offer a state-of-the-art sensory-motor room.

Meet Our Exceptional Team

Misty Meadows, M.S., CCC-SLP/Owner
Misty graduated with her Bachelor of Science from The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in April 2002 and Master of Science from The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in May 2004. She has been a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and Oklahoma Board of Examiners since 2005.
She began her career working in early intervention with the Shawnee Public School system in 2004 and continued there for 13 years, with five of those years also spent in private practice. In May 2019 she began managing Latitude Learning and Therapy Institute and became the owner in July 2021.
Misty has experience with children who have autism spectrum disorders, hearing loss, articulation and phonological delays, receptive and expressive language delays, and fluency disorders. Misty has a passion for helping those achieve a voice whether verbally or with other forms of functional communication such as AAC (Augmentative Alternative Communication).
Misty currently lives in Choctaw with her husband, two children, and many pets. She loves lake time with family and friends, watching her daughter cheer and her son play baseball. She also enjoys yoga, traveling, and OU football.

Shalynn Watson, M.S., CCC-SLP
Shalynn graduated with her Associates of Science from Oklahoma City Community College in May 2017, her Bachelor of Science from The University of Central Oklahoma in May 2019, and her Master of Science from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in August 2021. She began her career working as an SLPA in early intervention with Shawnee Public Schools in the fall of 2019 and continued there for 3 years. She then joined Latitude in July 2022. Shalynn has experience working with children who have developmental delays, autism, articulation and phonological delays, apraxia, receptive/expressive language delays, and fluency disorders.
She is passionate about helping others find their voice, in all forms, in order to become more effective communicators in everyday life and connecting with parents and families so that they feel empowered to implement strategies at home! Shalynn lives in Meeker with her husband, three children, and several pets. She loves spending time with family and watching her kids and nieces/nephews play sports.

Angela Moisant, COTA/L
Angela graduated from OCCC in 2020 with her Associate in Applied Science, Occupational Therapy Assistant and Associate of Science. She also obtained her Certified Aging in Place Specialist certification in August 2021. Since graduating, Angela has dedicated her time to working in the pediatric setting. She enjoys helping kids meet their goals and increase independence through child centered play-based activities.
When not at work, Angela spends her time speed cubing, bowling, fishing and tending to their pets with her husband and 5 kids.

Misty Wallace, Office Manager
Since June 2020, Misty Wallace has been the office manager at Latitude Learning and Therapy Institute. She has a diverse background in childcare, law, and administration and has a strong passion for helping others. Her love for children and legal knowledge helped drive her success in her current role. Misty moved to Oklahoma from Texas in 2012. When she's not spending time with her family, Misty enjoys live rock music, exercising, and traveling.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
“What should we expect on our first visit?"
Once you arrive you will be asked to complete new client paperwork, unless you already printed and completed from this site. Evaluations typically take up to one hour, so it is a good idea to make sure your child is well rested. Once the evaluation is completed the therapist will go over results and recommendations.
“If my child qualifies for services, how long and how often are therapy sessions?”
Duration and the amount of time for therapy sessions depends on your child’s individual needs. Speech therapy sessions typically are 30 minutes once or twice a week. Occupational therapy sessions range from 30 minutes up to one hour. Your evaluating therapist will discuss your child’s needs after the evaluation.
“Can I complete some of the paperwork before my child’s first visit?”
Absolutely! HIPAA privacy laws prevent us from allowing you to input information on this site, but copies of the most common forms are available here. These are our most common forms you can print and bring with you to your child’s first visit. CASE HISTORY HIPAA CONSENT ATTENDANCE
”What is Latitude’s cancellation/no show policy?”
Please call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or re-schedule any appointments. Frequent cancellations (25% or more of total visits) may result in a $25.00 fee for future missed visits. After three consecutive missed appointments with no notification or contact, you may lose your scheduled appointment time and be charged a $25.00 fee for each missed appointment.
“What insurances do you take?”
We currently take Soonercare/Medicaid, all Sooner Select plans, and Humana/Tricare. We have private “self-pay” options available also.

ONCE WE RECEIVE THE REFERRAL WE WILL REQUEST AN APPROVAL THROUGH INSURANCE FOR AN EVALUATION
